Limited to 1 bottle per member The nose was big, bold and frankly offbeat – peanut brittle, gingerbread and Portuguese custard tarts, orange liqueur and preserved lemons, seaweed, sloes and charred oak staves. The palate was vaguely rum-like, with a reduction of raisins and cherries, manuka honey on birch twigs, toffee, toasted almonds, molasses, liquorice and leather.
