The nose is a walk in the hills – freshly Dubbin-waxed boots, grassy notes and wildflowers, with suggestions of gardenia, pineapple and tobacco leaf. The palate introduces a tropical heatwave; it’s as sharp as a pirate’s cutlass; beef jerky, chilli flakes, humbugs, vanilla and Oddfellows sweets.
