Highland, Eastern We opened a bag of Thai sweet chilli almonds, cashew nuts and chickpeas as we baked kumquat pistachio brown butter tea cakes. Lots of sweetness on the palate neat, now the almonds were sugar coated or honey roasted, next to golden syrup flapjacks, Indian sweet mango chutney and shredded wheat biscuits soaked in milk topped with banana slices, almonds and cinnamon.
