The nose was spicy and slightly industrial – strong menthol lozenges, pickled ginger, molasses and black bun (perhaps with a smear of strawberry jam) and "standing on the Forth Railway Bridge after a steam train had passed". The palate discovered spiced stewed plums and coltsfoot rock, tobacco strands, bubble gum and toasted coconut.
