The aroma neat was like a refreshing old-fashioned mint lemonade, or a gentian, rhubarb, and cinchona spritz using freshly squeezed orange juice and a dry prosecco. Homemade lemon pepper seasoning provided plenty of heat on the palate at first before sweeter flavours of walnut whip and jammy dodgers appeared.
