A mellifluous and seductive nose – toffee, sugar loaf, dolly mixtures and golden syrup sweetness, hints of cut grass and a bed of blooms buzzing with bees. The palate has an initial bite and spicy tingles of ginger and chilli on the finish – in between were mellower entertainments of sugar cane, Demerara coffee grinds, Wagon Wheels, honeysuckle and oak.
