The nose started with perfumed wood (potpourri in a chest of drawers) but quickly went out of doors – to an orchard or a beach with sun lotion, ice cream and a cascade of golden caramel sunshine. The palate combined fruit (lychee, gooseberry and passion fruit) with candy floss and marshmallow sweetness, before a finish of wood char, cumin seeds and liquorice root.
