A curious nose – dried marigolds and plum sauce, banana loaf, caramel candies and toffee popcorn, then Beech-nut chewing gum and cigars in a barber shop. The palate was sweet but interesting – Stollen, ginger snaps, sugar-coated fennel seeds and Mexican hot chocolate with chilli and cinnamon – before tobacco, cumin and mace dried the finish.
