Rummaging through a linen bag full of sticky hot cross buns, we also found orange zest, huckleberry taffy and peanuts. The palate was a fruit cocktail of banana, pear and tangerines, joined by a warming mace, a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a topping of cotton candy.
