The panel was immediately bewildered by this dram, which showed maturity and aromas way beyond its stated years. The initial nose was riddled with things like aged sauternes and other dried out sweet wines, heather honey, beeswax, furniture oils, minerals, soft textural waxiness, green tea with lemon and this herbaceous, highly oxidative maturation profile.
