A warm and friendly aroma reminded us of vanilla fudge, plus a strawberry tall cake where the layers are made with a chiffon cake recipe and a dash of bitter orange-flavoured cognac liqueur, simply delicious. There was plenty of spice on the palate neat, with jalapenos and cinnamon-spiced cranberry jelly shots.
