The unusual nose had suggestions of exotic fruit, burnt fruit cake in an airtight plastic tub and Santa’s boots up the chimney. The powerful palate had burnt raisins, sweet chilli-smoked mackerel and drinking a mug of hot chocolate in a wetsuit.
