The nose teased with perfumed hankies and flower meadows, boiled sweets (Fruit Polos, butterscotch), cigarette packets and pencils – a nostalgic sniff into a leather handbag. The palate was succulent, juicy, fruity and sweet – rhubarb rock, ripe figs, sherbet lemon and golden syrup; juniper, leather and coconut gave us a bit of a nomad’s tent vibe.
