We found the nose complex and alluring – cranberries, redcurrants, strawberries and rhubarb rock; apricot jam and Neapolitan ice-cream; orange muscat and Zinfandel rosé. The chewy, substantial palate gave us pomegranate syrup, orange, apple, blackcurrant and dried apricot, with a warming pink peppercorn and moist gingerbread finish.
