There was an initial robustness to the nose, led by trail mix, salted almonds, walnut bread and mum’s homemade malt loaf, still warm from the oven. As it developed in the glass sweetness took over, with deep layers of treacle tart, chantilly cream and sweet cinnamon swirls.
