The nose was summery and relaxing – cantaloupe with ginger and maraschino cherry, jelly babies, hints of lemon and mint, almond nougat and sunscreen applied at the beach. The palate gave us a lick of liquorice and a dab of sherbet, zingy lemon zest, unripe figs, green melon, crystallised fruits, banana bread with walnuts and ginger and oak to finish.
