The nose neat has us rummaging through the spice cabinets, finding clove, ground ginger, nutmeg and cinnamon sticks while aromas of new leather and gentle wood smoke come from the den. The neat palate offers Luxardo maraschino cherries, figgy pudding, marzipan, cardamom and plenty of heat.
