The nose wafts a bouquet of fruit tea, Percy Pigs, thick-cut marmalade and marrons glacés, with rum-soaked prunes, Armagnac and hints of leather and waxed jackets. The palate is a sumptuous feast of juicy figs, spiced plums and chocolate sauce over raspberries; we also found lebkuchen and peppery black bun.
