The nose evoked old-fashioned lemonade and baked Alaska – then an identikit image emerged of a suntan-lotioned lady in a Hawaiian grass skirt, sipping champagne while hanging out the laundry. The palate started out quite tropical and fruity – red Ribena ice lollies, raspberry sauce over ice-cream and blue Slush Puppy, before shifting to pineapple cake, white wine and bitter lemon.
