The heavy char of this cask had generously donated big initial notes of salted caramel, molten butterscotch, pocket-warmed tablet, Moffat toffee, leather satchels, graphite, pencil shavings and coal dust. Underneath we find calvados, toffee apples, pink peppercorns and Moroccan cupboard spices.
