Biscuits (party rings, lemon puffs) and cakes, apricot Danish, pineapple and vanilla grace the nose – then it turns fresher and brighter, like sunlight on lemon-scented yellow roses. To taste, it’s perfumed, fruity, sweet and juicy (lemon drizzle cake and exotic fruits) but it evaporates leaving a dry, lip-tingling finish of cumin, liquorice and oak.
