The sweetly perfumed and attractive nose whispered to us of cedar, sandalwood and rose, summer picnics in flower meadows and waxed jackets in a candle shop. To taste, caramel wafer and vanilla sweetness was out-performed by the perfumed elements – ‘all scent-wearing ladies, gin parlours and nail bars’.
