This nose is fresh (laundry, new wood) and sweet (marshmallow, fudge, pineapple cake, tined pears in custard) but with a vaguely herbal, leafy aspect. The palate gets spiced nuts and roasted chestnuts, tea chests, chilli chocolate, dark honey and toffee, with a slightly tannic oak and leather finish.
