The delicate sweet floral aroma of an old-fashioned lady’s perfume together with a dusty wardrobe made out of exotic hard wood set the scene for us. However, the palate neat was very different; very lively with a sweet and sour flavour combination entwined with spicy star anise and a liquorice aftertaste.
