Speyside, Lossie The initial nose seemed green and grassy with laurel shrubbery, developing into mint chews and pan drops before eventually, exotic notes of sandalwood and mango emerged. The smooth, sweet palate offered toffee and maple syrup, while more complex flavours fuelled our somewhat animated discussion - baked apple, vanilla, mocha, toasted almond, some even found the finish reminiscent of Big Red gum.
