The aroma was that of lemon skin and cask char in melted butter, pears and clotted cream as well as clementine and dandelion oak-aged wine. Plenty of spice on the palate neat; a real adventure as you await the next flavour albeit sweet or spicy like biting into an almond and pink peppercorn biscotti.
