The nose portrayed the spirit of exuberance that defied this whisky's age and delivered to us a bountiful supply of apples, pears, gooseberries and pencil shavings. Vanilla pods and caramel wafers combined with sugar cane to bring a sweetness that followed onto a sticky and buttery palate.
