A 23-year-old single-cask Macallan distilled on 22 December 1988 and bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society in 2013 as cask 24.124, Close to the edge of extreme. The refill ex-sherry butt yielded 403 bottles at a natural cask strength of 50.8% ABV without added color or chill filtration.
