This surprising Braeval is genuinely good, with candied citrus, chilli, capers and olives developing into a long, herbal finish.

Tri Carragh Braeval - Release 10 is a 16-year-old single malt Scotch whisky from Braeval, a Speyside distillery known for making a lighter, fragrant style of whisky. For a novice drinker, this generally suggests a softer and more approachable profile, with an emphasis on malt, orchard fruit, and gentle floral character rather than heavy smoke.
