Peated
The nose was a sweet perfume of lilies in bloom, laid on a hay bale and topped with honeyed pear slices and crushed oats. We tasted lemon and black peppercorns upfront, then a dusting of icing sugar, plums and fig jelly, with a lingering pepper on the finish.
