An official Karuizawa Single Malt Whisky aged 17 years, released nationally by Mercian on 11 December 2000 at 40% ABV in a 700 ml crystal decanter. Mercian stated that the vatting combined Karuizawa malt whiskies aged from 17 through 31 years; 17 is the stated age because it is the youngest component.
