This 13-year-old single malt was bottled by independent bottler Murray McDavid and finished in a first-fill Sauternes wine cask. Sauternes is a sweet French dessert wine, and this kind of cask is often used to add honeyed fruit, soft richness, and a wine-influenced sweetness to malt whisky.
