An excellent peat and sherry combination, with leather, tobacco, bay leaf, pink grapefruit and tapenade, finishing long and saltier than seawater.

Old Skye Talisker 2011 14-year-old is a single malt Scotch whisky with the coastal, smoky style often associated with island whisky. For a novice drinker, that usually means a mix of maritime character, peppery spice, and malt sweetness rather than a soft or purely fruity profile.
An excellent peat and sherry combination, with leather, tobacco, bay leaf, pink grapefruit and tapenade, finishing long and saltier than seawater.
A highly complex, mature whisky with seaweed, tobacco, faded ashy smoke, brine, pepper, old leather and earthy tar notes.
