Hombo Shuzo's Kagoshima factory, which re-acquired a whisky licence in 1969 and distilled Mars malt whisky until 1984, the year before production moved to the Shinshu factory (now Mars Komagatake Distillery). Its last casks were released as The Malt of Kagoshima 1984.
