Uile-bheist, Gaelic for 'monster', opened in Inverness in February 2023 as a distillery and brewery, the first distillery to open in the city since 1892. Owned by Jon and Victoria Erasmus, it is part of the Turas Hotels group, and its whisky and beer share Kaspar Schulz equipment.
