Mossburn founded Reivers in 2018 at Tweedbank in the Scottish Borders as its second distillery, naming it after the Border Reivers, lawless bands of raiders. It focuses on experimental single grain Scotch whisky, including rye; grain whisky can use cereals such as rye alongside malted barley.
