I bought this bottle about a week ago and it's almost gone. It never lasts. I think that sums up what I think of Lagavulin.

Less heat than I was expecting. Very smooth. Lots of delicate flavors break through the characteristic Lagavulin smoke and peat — vanilla, charcoal, lemon peel, cocoa, and a sort of briney char. Very enjoyable.
