    Talisker Magma 47-year-old

    Talisker
    Single Malt
    Aged 47 years

Lots of pepper on the tongue but a really interesting long finish. I think I prefer the profile of the Glacial Edge more but it’s interesting how this one has so much spice with its age.

    SMWS 53.504 Maritime Drift

    Single Cask
    Caol Ila
    Single Malt

The name nails it. The nose is a musty ocean side pier, but the taste on this one is great. Definitely a pleasant surprise!

Very funky on the nose, and it carries through on the tongue. Not my thing - too much on the sherry/sulfur

Amazing nose. Makes me think of a cream fruit. Very spicy on the tongue.
