A vibrant, dark ruby colour was followed by the warm scent of black cherries, bergamot, red berries and almonds. On the palate it was succulent and gently spiced, like a Moroccan-spiced strawberry jam combining a fruity sweetness with savoury ginger, cumin, cinnamon and cloves.
