The aroma evoked vivid impressions, like a "punch on the nose" with a leather boxing glove, or walking into a dentist's waiting room a“ very clean, and with a faint candied aroma from the decades-old bowl of lolly pops and chocolates. The palate was very feisty, very malty and very sweet, like a rum-soaked prune cheesecake with a caramel sauce.
