SMWS 53.459 Steely, smoky, sweet and spicy

Big smoky notes were married with a sweeter side and a hint of spice – imagine burning old fish boxes for a barbecue on the beach as you throw cloves, aniseed and vanilla pods into the flames. Big and bold, steely, smoky and spicy – this was quite a surprise after the nose, as we had a dry white wine with spicy nuts and salted caramel.
