A rainbow of fruit arched over us, scattering delightful aromas of citrus, juicy mango, pineapple and soft fruit compote; also honey, caramel, condensed milk and vanilla. In reduction it became even fruitier – (fresh pear, candied apple, peach, strawberry, blueberry) – with curious hints of pine resin and mulled wine.
