The nose suggested lemon meringue pie, apple orchards and strawberry chews in the pocket of a waxed jacket worn by someone cutting a privet hedge. The palate started chalky and ended up with a fizzy tingle – juicy melon, margarita cocktail and a tin of effervescent soft drink crystals, with spiced chai latte and pickled ginger warmth; quite fun and celebratory.
