The nose picks up vanilla butter icing and fresh citrus with apple and pineapple on a PVC tablecloth. The palate is deliciously sweet and viscous - honey, fruit syrup and amaretti biscuits in waxed paper, with a dry, spicy finish of sweet aniseed, hot cross buns and clove rock.
