The nose neat took us all by surprise, sweet, fruity, sun-soaked raisins, orange cream, ginger cake, strawberries dipped in chocolate and candied roasted nuts. So did the taste neat, juicy, deep and dark like a jamun cooler, black plums, chilled water, honey and a pinch of black pepper powder and salt.
