Maker's Mark Distillery is a bourbon distillery in Kentucky best known as the home of Maker's Mark. Its origins date to the 1950s, when production began under the Samuels family with a focus on a wheated bourbon style.
The extra wood finish adds complexity, bringing caramelized nuts, forest honey, bitter chocolate, coffee, nutmeg and clove, with a long, cinnamon-laced finish.
