Busting out last years gift to celebrate this years holiday 🥹
Hard to describe but so much different than the classic. Still similar for flavor profile but surprisingly mellow for a single cask. Very very enjoyable!
“Honey in the front, tar in the back” - Gavin The 25 really brings out the flavors. Unlike a lot of more matured whisky it’s not mellowed out and packs a bigger punch than the 10.
I find a lot of Japanese whiskey to be a bit too malty or a bit too sweet. This still had a sharp taste, and definitely a sweetness, but enjoyable.
Very smokey and def reminds me of classic Lagavullin.
