Clynelish is a whisky distillery near Brora in Sutherland, built in 1967 beside the original Clynelish distillery.1,2,3 The first Clynelish was founded next door in 1819 and was renamed Brora in 1969.4,5,6 Its spirit is known for a waxy character, which comes from oils in a tank called the feints receiver.3
